Tartalmi kivonat: | This thesis focuses on the importance of family background as an extrinsical motivational factor in the success of gifted children as foreign language learners. I hypothesize, that gifted children have more positive self — image than average children have and the reason for it is that most gifted children were grown up in families where parents had higher educational background and/or were wealthier than average children's parents. I am going to use a parent's questionnaire and the Tennessee Self Concept Scale to prove my hypothesis. The aim of this thesis is to empasize that learners' success, in foreign language learning not only depends on the teacher, but it also depends on the parents. |
