Tartalmi kivonat: | How can we characterize the foreign language teaching method used in Waldorf schools? This is the question I raise in my thesis and try to give a hopefully detailed answer to it. Although foreign language teaching in Waldorf schools is an under-developed area, I am sure students achieve a high level knowledge because they are given direct experience of the verbal and non-verbal aspects of the language. Rudolf Steiner speaks about the art of teaching, from this perspective we can say that there is a combination of the teacher's creative flexibility with the facility for artistic improvisation. The success is sure - children find their way into the language using the three faculties of thinking, feeling and willing in a way that is appropriate to their age. |
