Tartalmi kivonat: | Learning English is becoming more and more popular and necessary in Hungary. In the first part of my thesis I examine the theoretical base of (second) language learning. I use these ideas in the following parts. The market is full of foreign language course-books. I examine and compare four book families (written for young teenagers) in the second part. I collect the topics and the used grammatical elements of these books. This comparison was the base of three new English Workbooks which were published in 1998. In the third part I present these workbooks. I identify and describe the groups of exercises. I give some representatives of these groups from the workbooks. And, last but not least, I put the whole volumes of workbooks into the appendix. The honoured reader can compare the theory and the implementation of them. |
