Tartalmi kivonat:The subjectof my thesis is the development of Frank Lloyd Wright's concept of organic architecture. F. L. Wright was one of the most famous American architects of the first part of 20thcentury. He was not just an architect, he was an ideologist, a philosopher, a teacher and a writer as well. The first chapter examines the "Chicago School" and its role in American architecture at the end of 19th century. Furthermore, it looks at F. L. Wright's early years spent studying in Chicago. The second chapter attempts to introduce the organic idea in its development. Finally, the third chapter is about F. L. Wright's final 16 years, his struggle for his most famous project, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.
