Tartalmi kivonat: | My thesis statement is that William Golding's aim was to show, through the boys' community, how people lost their innocence and developed the society of nowadays, which is based on humanity's inner fear. My starting point is that the island ofthe novel can stand for Eden and the boys are as innocent as the first couple was. By the process offorming a society, I will point out the problems of leadership and also the way of their loss of innocence. 1 will also prove that the Lord ofthe Flies is the representation ofthe shadow of the subconscious. Finally l will draw a parallel between the boys' society and ours. My ideas ofthe novel will be mostly based on psychology, especially mass and depth psychology. |
