I write about the nature and charateristic features of primary shool pupils in two age groups. In Chapter III. I try to reveal how we acquire the mother tongue and why we learn languages. In Chapter IV. I try to give a general picture of a foreign language lesson. In Chapter V. I compare the Communicative and Audio-Lingual Method in theory and in practice.
