Tartalmi kivonat: | This thesis deals with vocabulary teaching and intensifying techniques. In the first part of the essay I wrote about the differences between acquisition and learning; which words can be easily learned or can cause problems for students, but I want to give them help or suggestions for learning at home and in the school. Teaching techniques and aids are in the focus of the next part. I divided the aids for teaching vocabulary into groups and I also presented available and useful techniques. It is not enough to teach words for learners but teachers have to motivate them to communicate easily. So intensifying and practising techniques are the following chapter's topic. After the theoretical part I want to show how it works in practice. I made a classroom-research in the fifth class, where the two groups were taught in different way. In this work Margit Ancsa, a colleague, helped me. She laid bigger stress on vocabulary teaching and intensifying in one group, as we considered more effective than the "traditional" way. As a conclusion I give an account of the success of the research which lives up to my expectations that emphasizing the use of more presentational and practising techniques children can learn words easier and with pleasure. |
