Tartalmi kivonat:In my thesis I try to prove that although the first Industrial Revolution in Great Britain led to economical growth, not everyone enjoyed the benefits of it. The changes created worse, harder and humiliating conditions for those belonging to the working class. Especially the situation of children and women from the lowest class changed for the worst. Comparing to the preindustrial era children and women had to work more mainly in textile factories and mines. I intend to prove that child labour existed before the Industrial Revolution but during the Industrial Revolution it become more abusive with harsh punishment, unhealthy working conditions, long working hours and low wages -similarly with female labour- than ever before.
