Tartalmi kivonat:School children in Hungary have some kind of communication block in communicative activities in the English class. (Nikolov Marianne: Minőségi nyelvoktatás-a nyelvek európai évében. — Tanulmány : http://www.iskolakultura.hu/documents/2001/8/tanulm2001-8.pdf). In this thesis I will examine the communicative skill concentrating on eighth grade classes. In addition, I will examine the various techniques and forms of motivating teenagers. I will also examine the physical and psychological backround of the communication block through communicative activities in the English classes. I will introduce two communicative activities, which were used in order to encourage pupils to take part in communicative activities, that main goal was to make them communicate and use the English language naturally. I selected three different primary schools and four classes for the experiment, one primary school in Balatonföldvár and two in Szeged. Through real classroom activities I will introduce four school teachers who were prepared to demonstrate two communicative activities for their students for a whole lesson. The final aim of this work is to demonstrate that those teachers who make the effort to create communicative activities appropriate for their pupils can reverse the children's absence of communication.
