| Tartalmi kivonat: | he main idea of my thesis is based on discrimination against women in the United States. To understand this topic, one has to be aware of what discrimination actually means. Moreover, one also has to know what types it has and how they appear in every day situations. Through this introductory part ofmy thesis the reader will also learn about some laws and some true examples of discrimination, and learn more about the fact that it has been existing for decades not only in the United States but also all over the world, as well. In the main part of my thesis, I am going to compare men and women both physically, mentally and chemically to find the answer for the biggest question ever. Who is the stronger sex? In this part, I am trying to prove that women are not definitely the weaker sex. In the last part, one can see how discrimination against women has evolved in the United States. The reader is going to get acquainted with some of the most extraordinary female characters and groups in the American history from the colonial times till present days' women who were and are fighting for the equality between men and women. Women had very little chance to show what they were capable for, and how strong they were. If they hadn't been governed by men so strictly and had had the chance to do what they wanted, to answer for the previously mentioned question would be easier. My conclusion is that women could be as strong as men if they hadn't been discriminated against since the beginning of life. |
