| Tartalmi kivonat: | The focus of my work was on the social situation of disabled soldiers, war-widows and war orphans in the administrative area Banat–Bačka–Baranja (B.B.B.), established after the First World War. The study – based on relevant archival research and press history analysis – provides new additions to the cumbersome design of the welfare benefit system, incorporating local aspects. It also illustrates the reasons which explain the inexperience of the local administration and sheds light on the obstacles encountered in providing equitable care for disabled soldiers, war-widows and war orphans. |
