Dark violet crystals of ZnPc dye were obtained in high boiling point solvent of dimethylformamide (DMF) in the presence of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine (TMP) as a catalyst. Detailed thermogravimetric and kinetic analysis revealed high thermal stability of the investigated compound.
