| Tartalmi kivonat: | Agricultural cooperatives which have been a special type of cooperatives in Europe and in other countries beside Europe since 19th century until now, may be considered to be one of the basic constitutional-legal frame of agro and food industry by taking an important part in the agro environment protection too. Not only has this type of cooperative got an outstanding economic use worldwide but its social importance to maintain the population in the countryside is indisputable. All these deversing advantages result both from the special features characterizing cooperatives in general and agricultural cooperatives in particular. They may also be originated from the unique economic content of cooperative as well as from the special principles of cooperative law. It means that the regulation of agricultural cooperatives is supported by the general cooperative rules which correspond with the international cooperative principles. Considering the mentioned facts above it is represented the main features of agricultural cooperatives by emphasizing their specific characteristics as well as highlighting the essence of international cooperative principles. The characteristics of agricultural cooperative regulations is presented in details. The development of agricultural cooperatives is also reviewed in general. Taking all of them into consideration the current Hungarian agricultural cooperative regulation is analysed in details followed by the suggestions referring to the Hungarian regulation regarding agricultural cooperatives. |
