| Tartalmi kivonat: | The goal of the present study was to investigate the implementation of patients' rights in everyday practice, including patients' satisfaction, and relevant international experience. The aim was to show personal experiences and opinions of patients in relation to their specific rights, who underwent in-hospital treatments in Szeged. The study statistical results are grouped by individual departments, and by the patients' evaluation of the care provided by their physicians and nurses. Tables are presented to show the results. During data collection between January and June of 2009, anonimity was preserved, in order to get valid data from patients. Important aspect of the study was to show and compare patients' rights systems in certain European countries using standardized criteria. English literature and the Internet was searched and used throughout. One particular reason for the recent study was the problem of unawareness of their rights of patients, and the seemingly under-developed patient right system here. |
