Tartalmi kivonat:In my essay my goal is to summarize how I used the self-assessment called Myers-Briggs Type Indicator during facultative foreign language classes. The MBTI is an introspective questionnaire constructed by Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers, and it is based on Carl Gustav Jung’s theory of psychological types. According to the theory, there are sixteen personality types, which are built up by four personality dimensions. These dimensions are as follows: extraversion-introversion, sensing-intuition, thinking-feeling and judging-perceiving. First, I would like to write about how I introduced the four dimensions, then my intention is to describe how we used the short questionnaire I compiled, and finally, I elaborate on how we discussed the sixteen types. I believe this test is rather beneficial for everyone; that is why I thought it would be a great idea to introduce it to as many students as I can.
