| Tartalmi kivonat: | Multiple displacements from one home to another have become increasingly frequent during the epoch of globalisation. Certain international migrants become circular migrants. They devote their time and activity to both their country of origin and their destination country. Unfortunately, circular migration became a catchword in international political and scientific circles last decade. My principal aim is to clarify this notion step by step. First, I define the concept of circulation within the conceptual framework of transnationalism-translocalism nexus. Second, I seek insight into the change of socio-demographic composition of international circulators. I embed the results into the recent migratory context, try to find possible explanations and interpretations, furthermore I outline two specific preconditions of migration of modem times. Third, I guess a new characteristic of multiple movers, namely international circulators are partially resistant to some negative effects of economic crisis. |
