Tartalmi kivonat:Historia translationis sancti Pauli primi eremitae (The events surrounding the relocation of Saint Paul the hermit’s relics) is one of the first documents of the Hungarian founded Pauline monastic order. The work was written at the end of the 14th century, but neither the manuscript nor the first publication survived. Our present day knowledge of the work is derived only from second hand copies of the work. In my presentation I will make the attempt to introduce the survival of Historia translationis in the later copies. Thus I am going to introduce those Paulite breviaries, histographic publications about the order and hagiographic work which contain Histroria translationis. Besides this subject I will also deal with the question of the author of the original work because neither description nor other references occur in the texts. After analyzing the text in terms of semantical descriptions and lexicality, I will present the characteristics of the author’s choice of words.
