Tartalmi kivonat: | The widespread use of information and communication technologies are making significant changes in socio-economic habits. Information technology-based technology solutions in the European Union deserved particular attention from the early 20th century onwards. With the development of technological innovation, the image of the information society has also emerged. The concept of information society was established in the Bangemann Report in 1994. According to the Report, information technology and communications, as the foundation of the modern economy, generate an effect similar to the Industrial Revolution; and the widespread availability of new information tools and services can contribute to improving the quality of society and the economy. The concept of building a technology-based Single Market, backed up by the Digital Single Market Strategy, is still crucial in the European Union. In this context, the study examines the impact of technological innovation on ecommerce. The study focuses on the personal data issues, the prohibition of geoblocking and innovation-based financial technologies, especially in the area of payment services. In this context, it pays particular attention to the technological solutions that shape e-commerce and also to the legal responses to each technological solution. |
