| Tartalmi kivonat: | During his episcopate as the Bishop of the Diocese of Dunamellék, Károly Szász visitedall of the churches under his supervision. The visits started in 1885 in the Dioceseof Alsóbaranya. In the spring, he attended branches of the Baranya and Slavonianchurches, and visited Bácska in September. In my report, based on the contemporaryreports, I try to illustrate the reception of Károly Szasz. His visits were far aboveecclestical level, as they were major social events for the region as a whole. He waswelcomed with deep respect everywhere. In his honor, the towns were decorated,the bells were rang, and he was welcomed by prestigious delegations. Both secularand ecclestical leaders paid tribute to him, and the leaders of other denominationsalso welcomed him decently. The reception of Károly Szász sets a good example fortoday’s reformed believers and church leaders too. |
