| Tartalmi kivonat: | The question of identity is manifold. The preservation and cultivation of cultural traditions and habits, the question of ethnic, national, nationality, regional, European, language, social, etc. belongings and bounds are unique questions and topics of identity. Also, the paradigma of gender, that is the social role of the identity of men and women is very important as well. The role of the individual’s self-conception as being male or female (thus distiguished from the biological sex), the well-balanced presentation of gender in literature, philosophy, politics, media, and moreover the handling of stereotypes are topics of several scientific surveys. The present study reviews the main objectives, results and experiences of a COMENIUS 2.1 educational-research project between 2006-2009 with the title „Small Heroes in Trouble – Boys Searching for their Identities”. The project focusses on gender-identity of 6–11 years old boys (and girls) in primary education. |
