| Tartalmi kivonat: | In the era of “Web 2.0” social media became an integral part o f our everyday life. In order to make the studying process more attractive for the digital native generations and to increase their sense of achievement we need to implement new teaching methods that improve the efficiency of the information transfer as well as make the learning process more fun. This article discusses social networking sites, such as Facebook, Google+ and Youtube together with portals, for example, Duolingo and Redmenta that support learning and teaching. The methods, that are discussed in this paper are regularly used in the educational processes, show that the use of social median and different online educational platforms in the classroom has a beneficial effect on the performance of the student in addition to facilitating the work of the teachers. |
