Tartalmi kivonat:Photogrammetry is the basis of preparing maps. Photogrammetry produces high precision maps with the help of aerial photos. These make fieldwork easier; the detection and analysis of changes and also the time of mapping can be reduced. Most maps reflect the general topographic aspect, and they are often inaccurate depending on the size of the features and the scale. For the mapping of the karst surface and the accurate description of forms further fieldwork is needed and measurements with surveying (GPS and/or total station), or even a brand-new survey. Digital photogrammetry approximates the surface with triangular irregular network (TIN mesh) from the aspect of high scale aerial photos measured with stereo workstations, and produces a surface (contours and grids).
