The methods and laws of GIScience can help the geographers in the research of spatial processes, specially the investigation of the homogeneity and heterogeneity of spatial phenomena. The article gives a short example for the application of GIS technology in the field of risk assessment defining the spatial parameters and measuring probability of the harmful events and their consequences. |
