Tartalmi kivonat:In 1992, the water companies, repsonsible for karst water exploitation of the Bükk, had asked the University of Miskolc to work out a system for karst water level prognosis. Today, the water level is being checked at 34 sites. Another 16 sites had been cancelled, but we have 23 further sources from which we receive data. About six million datum has been processed up till now in the course of this research. The dynamic karst water resources of the Bükk are being calculated monthly, and prognosis is given for 30 and 60 days regarding the karst water level. Working with our existing data, we defined a socalled effective precipitation in order to be able to give our prognosis regarding the increase of the karst water level. Based on this, a specific water level increase had been defined. To give prognosis about the decrease of water level, we had to determine the dynamism and extent of the karst water level decrease for many previous years.
