Tartalmi kivonat:Matra is the one of the most popular tourism destinations of Hungary. The mountainous environment provides appropriate opportunities for the native supply and gives every kinds of sport in the mountain environment. The social and natural values of the region take fine background for local tourism and for visitors. The pattern of the local society conserves the Hungarian national traditions, so in this way the renewed castles, museums and basements still gives an atmosphere of the old generations for new ones. Besides the „mountaincharacter”, the area has got the main profile of activity, continuous movements and active tourism. The products of intensive sports gives more than hiking opportunities, because the ski-tourism, bike and motorcycle tourism and the extreme tourism guarantees the national competitiveness in demand and supply-side as well. The Matra is the only one, which has got extended complexity of tourism products from among of native destinations, so it serves perfect choice for the potential visitor of local and social attractions. The original proposal and hypothesis has been confirmed, because all of the product types could result the desired competitiveness altogether, and not in a separated basis.
