Tartalmi kivonat: | This paper examines and criticizes a Hungarian legal expression: „átültetés” (in English: transplantation). The word „átültetés” is an incorrect translation of the word implementation, i.e. implementation of EU-directives into domestic legal systems. According to the author’s point of view, the Hungarian expression „átültetés” – in spite of the fact this phrase is widely used in practice – cannot be considered correct. The meaning of the word „átültetés” in both everyday and legal terminology is transplantation! Regarding this fact, it would be more appropriate to use another, better expression, for example: „átvétel” or „végrehajtás” or simply „implementálás” in order to adequately translate the expression: implementation. |
