| Tartalmi kivonat: | First the forest used to be the home of the people who later realised the importance and the different ways of utilisation of the woods. The wood accompanies the human life from the beginning to the end. The wood still plays important role nowadays in the ages of the different artificial and natural materials. The aim of our research is to demonstrate the operation and the management of a forestry company and the effectiveness of the logistics processes at this company. As a public owned forestry company its role in the national economy is still important and takes care of all the people, animals and plants interests living in the forest or using the forest itself. We analysed the functioning of the Hungarian forestry logistics in international comparison to investigate the potential adaption of the international best practices. |
