Tartalmi kivonat:Many researchers are interested in the effects of subliminal stimuli and its influence on the human mind's processes. Our experiment was supposed to measure how a priming effect can be induced with subliminal stimuli while focusing on explicit learning processes. The test was made with the help of individuals between the age of 18 and 25 (14 men and 12 women). We measured the explicit memory functions with wordlist learning, which operated with three different categories of words: architecture, animals and clothing. Our priming effect was the category of clothes. To stimulate the participants, we placed pictures of clothes at the place of research and its surrounding area. Our hypothesis was that they will be able to memorize more words in the category of clothes. After data analysis we concluded that independently of priming, they could remember almost the same amount of words in every category. In this situation, the effect of priming had no influence on the explicit memory functions of subjects.
