Description
Summary:In the year 2010 the researchers of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Eötvös Loránd University Budapest contacted four convicts of Csillag Prison in Szeged, asking them to write down their "confessions": they all had killed close relatives of theirs. The goal of the Orestes Project is to dissolve the contradiction, that while the murder of a parent is at the very top of the hierarchy of 'simply unacceptable deeds', the motif of parenticide is constantly found in efforts to explain calamities, and serves as a compass to restrict humán desires in the works of several millennia's worth of European culture.
