The goal of the Orestes Project is to dissolve the contradiction, that while the murder of a parent is at the very top of the hierarchy of 'simply unacceptable deeds', the motif of parenticide is constantly found in efforts to explain calamities, and serves as a compass to restrict humán desires in the works of several millennia's worth of European culture. |
