Tartalmi kivonat:The paper contributes to the introduction of cognitive linguistics into Hungarian linguistic studies. In the first part the main assumptions of cognitive science are summerized. The basic semantic model of R. Langacker is explicated next, to form a connection between cognitive semantics and stylistics. Stylistics is not mentioned here as a theory but as style analysis. The cognitive semantic analysis is made on a prose of Miklós Mészöly and on a verse of Dezső Tandori. The cognitive semantic analysis concentrates on the nominal segments (nouns) of the first text and on the verbs of the verse (on the cognitive structure of movement, time and space), analyzing the basic semantic domains of these nouns and verbs. The stylistic analysis points out that the structure of these basic domains largely contribute not only to the referential part of the two texts, but also to their style in the context of the whole text. Cognitive semantics can intensely help the stylistic interpretation of literary texts and modelling the reception of literary texts.
