Tartalmi kivonat: | This article investigates the relationship between recent theories in word semantics. Having studied advantages and shortcomings of traditional componential method, prototype-semantics and Putnam's conception on meaning description it is argued for a non-unified theory of word meaning representation with respect to both a single reading of a lexeme and the lexicon. On the basis of word meaning structure typologies found in the current special literature a new classification is offered. Finally, the possibilities of componential analysis are reinterpreted in terms of my proposal. |
