The fast and dynamic economic growth may result significant spatial differences. Based on the assumptions of the general hypothesis of Williamson the Bavarian economic space also has undergone considerable change since the middle of the last century. Aim of the study is to present the territorial changes after the millennium. Did the regional differences decrease in the first decade of the 21th century, or did the inequality increase due to the economic and financial crisis? The economic role of Munich was increasing in the past few decades. The question is that due to the increasing was continue to becoming monocentre the area or the decentralization efforts have been successful?
