From the end of War till the final arranging the status of Fiume (closed to Italy in 1924) the dwellers of Fiume lived in an animate but consumedly climacteric years. It was the bottom of this actions Gabrielle D’Annunzio’s adventure at Fiume from September 1919 till middle of December 1920 which was already unacceptable for Italy. Gabrielle D’Annunzio deeply admirered the latin culture. He used theatrical spectacle elements in his political activity, and used the crowd as deviceas well. He constituted the unique constitutian of the town. He used alone metphores in his speech and writings. He designed and used the fascist symbols at first time. He was one of the insurgent, interesting character of the European literature in the 20th century. This short lecture is about him. |
