Tartalmi kivonat:The great majority of charters relating to medieval Hungarian history can be found in the diplomatic collection of Hungarian National Archive either in their original form, or in photocopies. Nowadays it happens relatively rarely that a historian finds a so far unknown charter in a private, or a public collection. The author of the present article found a charter of King Wladyslaus II from 1491 in the collection of the Museum of Hódmezővásárhely. This document transcribed an earlier charter of King Ladislaus V from 1455, the latter being a known document. The author publishes the text of both the transcribing and the transcribed charters in original Latin and their Hungarian translation as well.
