| Tartalmi kivonat: | According to chapter V, 140th paragraph of the Trianon Peace Treaty, which contained the decrees relating to military affairs the Hungarian government was obliged to draw up new laws of national defence three months after the treaty had taken effect. The codificational work progressed in the Hungarian Ministry of Defence under surveillance of the Inter-Allied Military Control Committee, which represented The Allied and Associate Powers in Budapest. Sandor Belitska, the Hungarian Minister of Defence sent the proposed text of the new defence act to IAMCC on 17th August, 1921. Since the IAMCC did not answer until the middle of December as it turns out of the documents, the committee of national defence brought the bill in the parliament on 12th December. After the debate the bill passed on the same day without any changes. The IAMCC sent its corrective proposals on 17th December requesting the modification of Act XLIX. 1921. The modification took place in January, 1922. The Hungarian government accepted all the proposals of the IAMCC, and submitted them to the parliament on 6th February. |
