Tartalmi kivonat:The Miocene acidic pyroclastics of the Biikk-Mountains are first of all limited to the marginal parts of the mountains. Only a few small-size disaggregated occurmeces can be found in its central mass. New outcrops were found near the Pazsag- and Hosszu-valleys, beside the foresty road, overlying middle-upper Triassic grey, cherty limestone and argillaceous slate. The pyroclastic material deposited on terrestrial area contains spherical concretions formed around grains of pumice. It has dactitc composition dated about 16 Ma. by K-Ar method.
