Tartalmi kivonat: | This paper provides an overview of the difficulties arising from the morphological and functional complexity of the Hungarian imperartive and suggests various functional categories that can be used in the classroom. The moiphology of the Hungarian imperative is described only briefly, as the main purpose of the paper is to establish new functional categories. These new categories are based on those found in currently used grammars as well as on the experience gathered during the teaching of Hungarian as a foreign language. A brief analysis of the coursebooks which teach Hungarian as a foreign language is also included, summarising how these teaching materials teach the imperative. |
