Tartalmi kivonat:The study aims to investigate how much young Hungarian city dwellers would accept potential urban environment changes trig- gered by AVs. In the full-profile conjoint analysis, 1011 young people expressed their preferences through the evaluation of 18 printed cards in multiple steps during in-person data collection. As a result, the ‘city of the future’ most preferred by youngsters can be described with the help of the partial utility of attribute levels and the constant value. Their ideal city envisions roads exclusively for AVs with new lane allocations, no drones, pedestrian-only sidewalks equipped with sensors, and frequent 5G system to boost connectivity.
