Multifaktorális bőrgyógyászati kórképek genomikai hátterének megismerése a plakkos pikkelysömör példáján
Regarding its genetic and genomic background, psoriasis is one of the most widely dicovered skin disease, therefore it represents the best example to profoundly understand the pathogenesis of multifactorial skin diseases. The exploration of the genetic background of the disease began in the 1970s, t...

| 520 | 3 | |a Regarding its genetic and genomic background, psoriasis is one of the most widely dicovered skin disease, therefore it represents the best example to profoundly understand the pathogenesis of multifactorial skin diseases. The exploration of the genetic background of the disease began in the 1970s, the classical linkage studies were performed in the 90s, and the genome wide association studies (GWAS) studies were launched in the early 2000s, elucidating about one third of the genetic background of the disease. Over the past decade intensive research on underlying missing heritability of the disease has revealed epigenetic mechanisms. It is now certain that interaction of genetic, epigenetic and environmental factors is responsible for the development of the disease. | |
