The implantation of the new religion succeeded without difficulties preserving some of the Celtic pagan elements. I am focusing on the comparison of the annual Celtic and Christian rituals. I will be discussing the significance of these religious festivals examining the symbolical content of each and searching for similarities. Using historical, symbolical, descriptive, religious and cultural materials, I will prove that both pagan and Christian celebrations had equal importance and influence on one another.
