These are the intense rivalry of the tabloids, the unbridled freedom of the press in the United Kingdom and the changing face of the monarchy. In my thesis I am going to illustrate that throughout these transformation the press and the royals have built up a symbiotic relationship, in which they need to co-operate so that both of them could sustain successfully. |
