We examined the phenomenon in Tiszabercel, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county. It is mainly due to the fact that the basic concept of Anthropology of Education is that social mechanisms are situational, so the solution attempt must also be situational (Delamont 2012). Based on the approach and cause-effect relationship of our research, we tried to map the peculiarities of the institution and its pedagogical practice from the point of view of the catch-up of Roma students in the elementary school operating in the settlement from the sociological perspective of education. During the empirical data collection, we used a qualitative research method, in addition to the analysis of school documents, we conducted semi-structured interviews with elementary school teachers (N=10). | |
