Tartalmi kivonat:The political and legal debate about the GMO-proposal package (2010) of European Commission is still going. This proposal package contain: a new recommendation in connection with coexistence and a proposed regulation about the modification of existing rules on GMO. The target of the new political approach is a balance formation between the licensing system of European Union and freedom of decision of the member states. For the sake of the cause is necessary the modification of 2001/18/EC directive. In my study I search for the answer to „Should there be a modification of the regulation on GMO?” and „Should born a compromise in this question what divide the member states of European Union and in connection with economic interests.” In my opinion compared to the current regulation the new political approach would provide a more coherent framework to the GMO-regulatory system of EU. This regulatory system based on scientific results of the examination about the health and environmental riscs. Point of view of the environment necessary the risc factors, such as GM crops cultivation to minimize. Greater autonomy ensure – in the GMO issue – for the member states may result more efficient environmental and agricultural regulation.
