| Tartalmi kivonat: | The aim of this publication is to create a comprehensive picture, based on our recent knowledge, on settlements within the less-explored Hajdú-Bihar – Bihor euroregion which have recorded video footage of their folk-dance. Most of the material derived from the Institute of Musicology, the House of Traditions and Déri Museum, although, striving to complete, material from Institute of Folklore in Bucharest, focusing on Bihar – Bihor region, are also discussed. Besides hungarian material, romanian and gypsy motives are also included. Our aim is to create a database to help not only reasearchers, but also folk-dance groups, enabling examination of the old-time dance culture of the area. All this could facilitate presentation of the long forgotten local virtues, which could set ground for revitalizing local and regional culture, facilitating the development of hungarian and interethnic culture. |
